“I told you to leave me behind,” Jason yelled at his subordinate.
“And I told you I never leave anyone behind,” Mayra rebutted back to her commanding officer.
“You will put the whole crew in danger.” Jason loaded the gun Mayra handed him, putting the extra ammo in his breast pocket.
Sirens wailed as red lights danced up and down the corridors. The two ran past guards, not missing a beat, every second their life depending on the rhythm.
